Gotta nice little exclusive here for you…. Back in 1996, press was sent advance copies of Chino XL’s solo debut, Here To Save You All. In this era, print magazines would get things *months* in advance, and at times, these were unfinished versions of the albums, sometimes with extra tracks. Chino was a lot skinnier and just as shocking as he is today, paving the way for the same kind of celebrity punch-rhymes that Eminem would eventually adopt for “Hi, My Name Is”. On “Why’d You Wanna Go There”, a track that was meant for inclusion, virtually every celebrity gets it raw, including lines aimed at 2Pac and Michael Jackson (whom both we’re alive at the time, obviously). As far as punch-rhymes go, this track has some of the best EVER – such as “You wack like Shaquille’s album”. Our guess is that this track was way too offensive and ended up being deleted from the final cut.

Classic shit… had it for a long time, though the sound quality was pretty messed up. This one’s better now.
Btw, was this ripped off of a cassette or an actual HTSYA advance?
