In a nutshell, the long looming beef between 9th Wonder and Little Brother came to a head today via Twitter of all places, after Phonte leaked the group’s last collaborative track together “Star” – a track originally recorded for The Dream Merchant LP, but later to be used as an Itunes bonus track for Little Brother’s “Left Back”. However Phonte says in the above video that the group was forced to pull the track from the tracklist at the last minute at the request of 9th Wonder. He goes on to explain the dissolution of Little Brother in the clip. You heard it here first.

I had been wondering if Phonte’s verse on “That Ain’t Love” off Getback was aimed at 9th, I think this confirms it.
