Dr. Dre’s “Detox” Single Imminent?

The rumor mill has been spinning at high speed recently, suggesting that a Detox single is set to drop very soon. It began yesterday when an E News reporter Michael Yo tweeted the following post, suggesting a new song from Dr. Dre and Jay-Z would drop this week.

While he’s definitely a reputable source, April Fools Day is this week, so maybe he’s just an elaborate prankster. But then Eminem came out of Tweetirement and suggested something big was coming as well. Something bigger than his current high score on Donkey Kong…..

It could be anything – after all, we all know Relapse 2 is in the works as well…. Meanwhile, the Aftermathmusic.com site is taking the ball and running with it, decorating it with images and banners with Jay-Z and Dr. Dre, Detox logos everywhere. Problem is, this site is run out of Stralsund, Germany, not Compton, CA. Hollywood, CA. Meaning they probably have about as much information on this as anyone else. More news on this as it develops, but you can count on hearing the song here at HipHopSite as soon as it drops.
