This is good news, isn’t it? After the success of taking a back to basics approach with Raekwon’s Only Built For Cuban Links 2, Genius will follow suit with the official sequel to his own magnum opus. As fans of the original, let us just say this: the title is not enough. May this album be constructed with the same quality control that was found on OB4CL2. Wu albums are important these days, treat their creation with the utmost care.

Dayz says: This is good news but I really hope they don’t rush this project. After OBFQL2 came out I was so stoked in feeling that old 90′s Wu vibe back again. Then came Wu-Massacre which I was really hyped about too only to listen to it once and probably wont ever listen to it again. It was rushed and it showed. There was no quality control, how could Raekwon do that album after releasing OBFCL2 and talking up how taking your time and picking just the right production is the key to making good music? Oh well… Gotta keep it moving let’s keep our fingers crossed for GZA and RZA together again!!!

Dayz says: Whatever happened to this project??? GZA talked about this, what, years ago and we haven’t heard a peep from him since! Hopefully he’s in some dank musty cellar somewhere in Shaolin with RZA crafting this LP!!!
