In a recent report by AllHipHop, it was revealed that KRS-One is working on a new six-track EP called Back To The L.A.B. (Lyrical Ass Beating). The EP will focus on calling out emcees that have attacked him or that he has had beef with over the last several years, and will feature production from Da Beatminerz and DJ JS-1. While the targets have not yet been revealed, our guesses include Jay-Z and Canibus. Sucker emcees duck!
It’s smooth how KRS is selling his own stuff now exclusively; essentially giving the finger to corporate america and record labels.
He’s doing the same thing on a huge project w/ his apprentice, Greenie– a CD he produced and is all over [the SAMPLES from it --are some of the dopest KRS rhymes...EVER]…sells ONLY at the site http://www.krsonealbum.com
I, for one, am supporting this movement– purchasing directly from artists–and cutting out the corporate middleman!
yaaaaah
Just seeing the cover gave me chills, must cop!!!
