Vibe Crowns Dr. Dre ‘Greatest Producer of All-Time’
According to Vibe magazine, Dr. Dre is officially the Greatest Producer of All-Time. Dre won the title in a bracket-style,fan voting tournament on Vibe.Com.He took 62% of the votes and outlasted DJ Premier in the final round.The contest began in April and also featured Scott Storch, the Neptunes, Lil Jon, Kanye West, the Alchemist, DJ Muggs and Havoc of Mobb Deep.After being notified that he’d won the contest Dre commented:
“I just found out that I got voted VIBE’s best producer of all time. That shit is incredible. I’m a humble person and I would’ve never expected that, seriously. I just go in the studio. I try to do my thing to the best of my ability.”
In other news, Detox continued it’s 10 year reign as Most Hyped Album Never To Be Released That Dre Says He’s Still Working On.There is no competition.

Seriously, when it comes to hip hop matters, vibe should fall back…They’re trying to cause controversy like their one time they had the emcee stand-off and Eminem came out on top (he is a dope lyricist, but c’mon now, and the roster wasn’t ultimate). In my opinion, MTV and it’s hip hop lists, R&B magazines with their hip hop lists and so forth should take 5, quit trying to seem relevant by dealing with what heads like us deem a lifestyle. Dre is a dope producer, but consistancy hasn’t been his saving grace. Sure he gave us NWA, The Chronic etc, but we do have the Firm and Aftermath projects…If you ask me, Kanye (as cocky as he is) should have probably had more honors than him. So in my response, please quit catering to the teenie boppers who are dictated by your fake lifestyle Vibe, and MTV, because sooner or later, you will drop them for the next generation, as well as the artists, for whatever can keep you in the limelight and bring in the moolah…Fuck them, fuck their motto, And 1 love to hip hop! HHS should speak on this with a top 10 list…It would be more believable…*whew*

Nope, sorry vibe, can’t vibe with that, just compare his catalauge to Premier’s, yeah dre’s shit has been the the shit for a long time, but cmon man half those beats on relapse? its Premier hands down, cause he’s infinite. respect to Dre, but more to Premier.
