According to the October 2010 issue of XXL with Kanye West on the cover, Mos Def is the new signee to West’s G.O.O.D. Music imprint. With the recent signing of Pusha T from The Clipse, the roster continues to become the most exciting in the industry.
And speaking of Kanye West, Rap-Up magazine has stated that his upcoming album is now being released on November 22nd, the Monday before Black Friday. That is going to be quite a shopping week with Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday, Akon’s Akonic, Ne-Yo’s Libra Scale, Lloyd Banks’ H.F.M 2, and Flo Rida’s The Only 1 all set to drop that week. “Black Friday” is now looking like “Broke Friday.”
I hope it’s more like Kweli’s Quality than Mos Def’s “the Ecstatic”…
yeah, i haven’t heard anything i like from Mos since his 1st album.
