What you are looking at above is the physical manifestation of record company incompetence. Quite possibly the biggest blunder in rap history, Columbia had signed 50 Cent via Trackmasters imprint around 2000 or so. His album, Power Of The Dollar, was finished, as seen here above, sent to press, and bootlegged mercilessly. But instead of riding the buzz young 50 created with “How To Rob”, they shelved the album. Unsure of what to do with 50, they released him from his contract, allowing him to sign one of the biggest deals in the history of rap music, with his Shady Records / Aftermath debut selling over 6 Million copies. The rest is history…. and they didn’t even have the decency to spell his name right on the promo disc…..
So where’s the link to the download?
Pizzo’s probably just showing off his copy? Dunno.
Huh..real copies of that are not easy to get your hands on. I worked at sony and I only got that excuse for an EP release that they put out and quickly let go out of print.
