A lot of long-time HHS users remember the wealth of promo items that came with our online orders during our retail phase. This accounts for over 100+ releases, some officially branded by HHS, others provided by the labels. We’ve got them all here. Ripping them and uploading all of them will be a daunting task, however. The question is, is it worth doing? We probably have to figure out the logistics of it – a schedule even – to unload this wealth of releases for the public. We’re a little on the fence about it because we feel the HHS traffic needs to reach the levels of where we used to be at before we opened (and closed) the digi-downloads store. If we’re going to do it, we want it to reach the most people possible. Give us your feedback in the comments section below and maybe we’ll figure something out….
Definitely!
I used to get all of my CDs through you guys because of the promo items and the swell compilation albums. There was so much swag in every box. Great Times.
I got into many an artist just because I first heard them on one of your free promo mix CDs. A lot of love and work went into those old promos and the fruits of that labor should be shared with the most persons possible.
Treat us!
Thanks.
please please please..puhlease can we have them?!
Hell yes, I used to be mad as hell when I saw those and was too broke to do anything about it. It would be great for those to reach the wider public, especially younger heads who couldn’t catch the indie golden era.
Wow, sorry to post twice but I after rereading the last sentence in showguone’s comment and just had to say I can attest. Appreciate you guys and the other online outlets making things available to those of us outside of major cities w/o constant traveling.
Absolutely! Share what you have with others so we can experience opportunities previously missed out on. It would be very much appreciated by all.
