While Big Boi and Killer Mike were busy this past weekend doing the final mixdown for Mike’s Pl3dge, due April 19th, they also announced their next project. As it turns out, Big Boi, Killer Mike, and 2010 XXL Freshman emcee Pill will unite for an as of yet untitled supergroup project. While these kinds of things are announced regularly and many times never see the light of day, the trio reportedly has been recording the album for the last month and has material ready to go.

Should be good, anyway, with Big Boi on it, I’d pick it up no matter what!

I’m sure Pill will do a great job stashin the Krypto for his “groupmates”

Saw on El-P’s twitter that he is wanting to get some beats on this album (he actually threatened to kill a bunny if he didn’t get a beat on the album, LOL). I saw Mike responded to him, so that might be happening.

Sounds dope with or without El-P beats though, but that would definitely make it more interesting.

Definitely has the recipe for dopeness, we’ll see… Big Boi is incredible so anything he’s a part of I’m sure is going to be quality! Killer Mike is nice but can’t say I have given Pill a chance yet, haven’t listened to any of this material.
