Wow, we’re not mad at this at all. Diamond D’s original “That’s That Shit” happens to be HHS co-founder Warren Peace’s favorite 90′s hip-hop track.
Skins says: Frostman! He’s been holding Philly down TOUGH for a long time, love that he’s finally getting the shine he deserves. Can’t wait for that Throwbakk Jakk Vol. 2 mixtape, if any of the tracks that have dropped from it so far are any indication, could be a classic. In as much as mixtapes can be classic, but still dope music is dope music.
Christopher says: That is fucking classic. I love throwback joints. I just wish more up in coming rappers would at least attempt this because some of the tracks they spit over nowadays are lame. Diamond and the whole DITC crew can’t be touched.
Cam says: Is it me, or does he sound like Chubb Rock’s long lost son. Great delivery and rhyme, but his vocal timbre is so Chubb like, I would have thought it was him if I didn’t see the video.
Skins says: Better diction than Chubb I think, but I see what you’re saying and good observation. Not a bad guy to sound like though.
I think this is the best I’ve ever heard Jakk Frost sound. So many rappers simply need better beats to back them up.
