Longtime Jay-Z engineer speaks with HHC UK about a number of topics, and towards the end explains that Jay’s next record has an ill concept behind it.
We shall see but to me Jay-Z fell off a while ago. Yes he is a bonafide business mogul and ultra successful but his artistry as an emcee has been lost. He has dumbed down this flows and talks about stuff that I cannot relate to what so ever… Hope this new album is a return to form but with steamer songs like that ridiculous horrible H.A.M. I don’t have much hope for Hova dropping an album that I would even care to listen to… Hope I am wrong.
Really good interview, they covered a wide spread of topics, hopefully Jay-Z can come with a dope album, no matter what he releases will make a bunch of money but I want some good music. I don’t know what concept Jay has in mind but hopefully it results in a dope album.
