I Remember being young as shit, probably about 13 when I first started buying albums off HHS. I remember having to wait 2-3 weeks for an album to come, and when it did I played the shit out of em. Made me appreciate so much more the work artists put into crafting an album and having it pressed. PS JMT was one of first albums I bought off here.

When was the last time a kid actually sat down and listened to an album all the way through without skipping tracks??? And holding the actual liner notes and reading every word on it??? Songs are so fast food these days, download in a second listen to the first 15 seconds and then on to the next one… Appreciation of full albums, not just Hip Hop, is fading fast… It’s ashame…

So true, even on this site… I find myself now simply skipping around through the tracks.

Part of it is that there is just so much of it out these days, seems like anyone with a $200 audio rig is an mc or a producer.
