Is Ali Vegas still relevant in 2011?!? i think his boat has already sailed away…blaze battle was a LONG time ago and if he couldnt capitalize on that MAJOR exposure then he already lost…hahaha but this song was good before the token RnB hook was added into the equation…
Dayz says: Ali Vegas may not be popular and may have missed his opportunity to be a commerical success but that doesn’t mean he wasn’t/isn’t relative to the Hip Hop community… “Theme of New Work” and “Im From the Ghetto” are my two favorite songs he did.
Ali vegas put out another mixtape/album a year or two ago and it wasn’t very good… but his first one was fire.
Whether he is relevant or not… that depends on a lot of factors.
“Beauty is in the eye of the beholder” and that applies to music, some music that may relevant to me won’t be to some one else. I think if Ali Vegas dropped something now with some nice production he would get madd play.
