Each month we award our most consistent commenter here on HipHopSite.Com with a big bag of schwag (not to be confused with “swag”). For April, user TomL killed it, commenting over 254 times on various posts on the site. Nobody was fuckin’ with this guy.

I guess it could be taken further with
- dedicated message topics/forums
- log-in accounts
- ‘notify me if somebody replies’ functionality
- uploads section for people to share their beats/rhymes/cuts
Or maybe some sort of rating system for the posts so the popular/better ones become more visible
It’s easy to have a discussion as there are some good people here… most of them already posted right here.
How do I claim these prizes? Hope it’s not a self paid road trip to Vegas.

Anyways congrats again and it’s been fun discussing our shared appreciation for Hip Hop here on HHS with you and the regulars… @Rizzo, he does make a good point if you want to take the discussions to the next level all those ideas are good! Again a big thanks and appreciation to the staff of HHS, I’ve been down since 96 and I check in daily! …On to the next topic gotta get crackin’ if I wanna be the Top Shotta next month!

On a different not it’s interesting that I haven’t got an e-mail from HHS or a response from them so I hope these contests aren’t fake.
I’ve had something like that happen before, won something and never got it.

Yea I was joking about trying to win Top Shotta next month, for me it’s really about hearing all the great music and keeping up with “REAL” Hip Hop news (can’t stand what a lot of the other sites consider news like all the pickering, fake beef and who’s sleeping with what hoe, etc…) and discussing it with like-minded individuals…
