Random Axe sounds more like a 90′s rock group than a trio of dope MCs hailing from Brooklyn and Detroit. The sound of these three lyricist, including producer Black Milk, and rhyme slayers Guilty Simpson and Sean Price is heavy, menacing, and exactly what you should expect from a super-group of underground heroes. Each member carries their own weight and plays a distinct part in their lyrical attack, so expect the LP to be nothing short of a classic.
It sure pushed bad meets evil out of rotation for me
Yeah the Bad meets Evil album is pretty forgettable…and it sucks because that album is obviously gonna out shine Random Axe’s album but hey what can you do…
Random Axe IS the truth!!! It’s f*cked up that they’ll probably get a 3 1/2 or 4 @’s from HHS, while Drake gets a 5… Damn!!! I STILL can’t get over that sh*t!!!
@Huey: co-sign…im already seeing Pizzo or any other reviewer giving it @@@1/2…im calling it now…watch i bet im right hahaha
