I’m feelin Hov,but that shark ish is my only knock on the kid. All my old heads know that biting is a str8 violation. This ish takes way from the game at some level. Jay can get away wit it,But I got yung boyz tellin me that Rick Ross versions is betta than Special Ed.(spaghetti heads)

There’s a difference between biting and quoting (paying homage). Jay has toed that line, but shit has been blown out of proportion. I don’t see what working together has to do with either, unless it’s some Nas “we were best friends with Tupac” revisionism.

WTF is up with the Revenge of the Nerds glasses? This fag probably doesn’t even really need glasses…God I hate the douche that is Shawn Carter….

I agree it’s a fine line. I rather see mc’s pay homage w/out use of another mc’s verbatim lyrics. The artform is regurgitated enough. I hate to see it eat it’s self.(hip hop) I once heard De la pay homage to Nice & Smooth, Chamillionaire did the same for nearly every H town artist, Dana Dane to Slick Rick ect ect…. Everybody know Jay got the chops to stand on his own. He should let the late great vet live via his lyrics, cause ant nobody forgot great C. Wallace was.
