I was just listening to the new reflection eternal album and thinking about blackstar…

Hopefully kweli & Madlib spend more time on liberation 2, the first liberation wasn’t nearly as good as I expected it to be.

Nelly collab? I guess I shouldn’t be surprised in 2011.

It is really sad. This cat used to be one of my favorite emcees. Now I couldn’t care less what he has been rhyming about. I used to think a follow up to Blackstar would be the greatest thing ever. Now after Mos’ records and Kweli’s catalog of underachieving LP’s it just doesnt interest me.

Talib was so consistent in the 90s and early 2G but as many seem to feel he’s been real hit or miss for almost a decade now… I was not a fan of Gutter Rainbows but the last Reflection Eternal and Ear Drum LPs were great so we’ll see… I will always continue to support and purchase his music I just hope these new projects hit the mark.
