Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter IV has leaked, revealing a shot fired back at Jay-Z. Originally, on the track “H*A*M”, Jay indirectly dissed Wayne and Baby with the line:

“Niggas fantasize about the shit that I do daily/ like These rappers rap about all the shit that I do really / I’m like really half a billi nigga / really you got Baby money / Keep it real with niggas / niggas ain’t got my lady money.”

Wayne responds on the track “It’s Good”, altering Jay’s original line:

“Talkin’ bout baby money, I got ya baby money / Kidnap yo bitch, get that how much you love yo lady money / I know you fake nigga, press yo breaks nigga / you want to take me out? / It’s a date, nigga.”

Yawn… This has no relevance in the music I choose to listen to or the people and artists I surround myself with so I could care less. I don’t think I have ever listened to an entire Wayne song all the way through except, Back That Ass Up, which he was just a feature and wait a minute, um, the song Feel Like Dying… Other than that nope, he’s just not relevant in my Hip Hop world… Jay? I have been bored and moved on from him years ago, will still listen to him if I turn on the radio and he’s on or someone busts out some older tracks/albums to reminesce to…

I get how everybody is breaking down the quality of the bars and all, but isn’t the weakest part of the this diss attempt the intent? I like to listen to rappers I feel are genuine, doesn’t matter if your thought-provoking like Pharoah M. or you just kick t like Devin. As long as u real your good with me. Lil’ Wayne ain’t kidnapping anybody and people really question his Blood allegiances, so how credible are his bars? I just think the move is weak sauce, the only reason he got at Jay Z is because he knew his album needed momentum. Whats the popular move when you need albums sales(ie. Game and Camron)? Diss Jay Z. And to make it even weaker he mentioned dude’s BM. Common people, that’s not real nigga shit, quite the opposite.
