Apathy recently released his latest solo-LP, “Honkey Kong,” and the rave reviews have begun to surface. The Connecticut emcee and The Get Busy Committee (Apathy, Scoop Deville and Ryu released Uzi Does It in October 2010) and AOTP member has undeniably crafted his best project to date and it includes production from Apathy, DJ Premier, DJ Muggs, Statik Selektah, Evidence, Da Beatminerz and Teddy Roxpin among others. Guest appearances on Honkey Kong include Xzibit, Slaine, Vinnie Paz, Esoteric, Ill Bill, Celph Titled, Action Bronson, General Steele (Smif N Wessun) and Mad Lion.

Apathy included a companion EP, “Primate Mindstate” for anyone who purchases “Honkey Kong” (either at retail, or digitally), which this track comes from.

Hands down the dopest album of the year!!! Every single song is five star flawless! The beats!?! Best selection on a single album hands down, top notch from top to bottom. Lyrics!?! Sounds like every line was clearly thought out and written and re-written to perfection! And that is all the guest appearances too! Unbelievably awesome album this will be getting spins at my house 20 years from now for sure!
