I love Reef, he’s a unique MC with ridiculous potential, and just a great dude that I’m fortunate to know personally thanks to the close-knit Philly underground/indie rap game. With that said, I’m far from a fan of The Snowgoons. They’ve made some decent beats, but they have a repetitive, overly dark style that gets old very quickly. If anyone can pull it off it’s Reef, but I worry that the album is going to be a monotonous disaster that won’t bring out the best in the Lost Cauze. We’ll see.
