He’s actually speaking on the state of gangster rap, and he’s partly right about that shit..
Respect to Joe for that interview. Spoke on the state of affairs in the industry and seems like a real and humble person. I still gotta say I haven’t been much of a fan this past, wow I gotta say, decade or so but I respect him. He says he still makes that street gangster music but I don’t really hear it??? I hear Miami Hip Pop with these wack new cats. If he made more LPs like Don Cartagena that had the rugged and raw mixed with quality Hip Pop sounds I would be thrilled. Don Catragena still gets spins in my house I love that LP! Jealous One’s Envy too!
