Mobb Deep have announced they are working on an untitled album produced enitrely by The Alchemist. While the Mobb offered little details about the album, reps for the pair said Al would be responsible for all of the production plus securing the guest spots. Prodigy is also working on his second book since releasing his controversial memoirs “My Infamous Life.” His album is due before the Summer of 2012, while his untitled second book should be out early 2012.
Mobb Deep’s new EP Black Cocaine is in stores now.
Dayz says: Okay Mobb y’all you got my attention back… After the disappointing comeback EP I was underwhelmed… Next LP I was not that excited about anymore, much as I have been disappointed by most of the releases in the past 5-6 years… But doing an album with ALC on all production duties has the making of a choice LP. No doubt did I really dig the Bumpy Johnson LP it was boss and a nice reminder that P can still kick it…
Model Citizen says: I’m excited, while at the same time ready to be totally let down. I hope this is as good as it has the potential to be.
