We’ve already picked our favorites already for our soon-to-be revealed 2011 Year-In-Review, but what about you? Let us know what your favorite MAJOR LABEL hip-hop LP was for 2011. Vote on Facebook.
Thats an easy one…the Roots made the best album this year by far. It’s not even a contest.
Can’t speak on Common’s LP yet (haven’t heard it) but I only see 2 even worth a shit on that list. Rae & ghostface went hard this year!!
Oh I forgot about the roots, undun was pure art. Bad meets evil was good, but it wouldn’t make my top5, Indie or major label. The best hip-hop coming out right now is on the Indie scene. Drake, wheezy, and even jay-z have nothing on Saigon right now.
My album of the year in general was…
Money Making Jam Boys – The Prestige
That shit is a fuckin classic and I hope I’m not the only one who appreciates it.
undun.
Only album on that list worth listening to more than once.
