Caan I Kick It ? from Gasface on Vimeo.

Priceless. Al recounts his early origins as The Whooligaz, a Cypress Hill/Soul Assassins offshoot on Tommy Boy in the early 90′s, with actor Scott Caan, son of James. I still got the promo 12″ on orange vinyl.

Ha, this is fantastic. I used to LOVE that Whooliganz song when it came out, and Al isn’t wrong, for ’93, Caan had raps.

Yo I never realized who the two dudes were from the Whooliganz! What!?! Crazy… Scott spit real ill for that time period had that West Coast/Cypress/Pharcyde/etc… flow down! Had to go to YouTube and watch their videos and now I see it! LOL! Nice fun trip back to the good old days of rap!

I swear I wonder about Caan everytime I see him in something in regards to hip-hop…I was wondering was he still cool with Al, but once I saw someone (David Spade) wearing a Soul Assassins hat in Entourage (which he starred in..coincidence? I think not…)I knew he was probably still down…

P.S. I was heated that this album never dropped…they had the MP3′s of some of the songs at the Soul Assassins website, BTW…
