albums pretty tight, some good content on there, need to listen a few more times for the shit to marinade but theres some good rapping on it, beats are dope,
While I respect for what KRS One was done, I respect that, but dude always makes horrible arguements. For example, trying to blame gang violence on Arnold Swarchenegger because he executed Tookie Williams. If Tookie Williams told people to dead the beef (alive or dead) and people continued to do it, then that’s those people’s own damn fault. Listen KRS, you can blame others for the actions of people in gangs, but people are responsible for their own actions.
Now that I think about it, KRS One seemed to pave the way for Kanye West to be egomaniacs and spew crazy shit out of their mouth like they know what they are talking about.
@Tom: Hahaha! Yeah, but I love Kanye’s shit talking, it’s so entertaining! Plus he’s a monster on beats.
Whoa this LP popped up outta no where! Bumped it 3x in a row last night, KRS-One is on fire these days! This plus the Just Like That LP comin’ with two solid singles out already… KRS-One came out in 2012 on a rampage!
You can say what you want about KRS, you can disagree with him but he has never said or done anything that would bring harm to his community.
@Karmaquarius agreed KRS-One is such a positive and productive member of the Hip Hop and world community… He truly is the rap Teacha and I wish more people would actually listen to him and take away some lessons that he is providing.
Agreed with Dayz and Karmaquarius. This is a little long for me to check out now but in depth discussions with KRS are always interesting to tune into no matter what he’s saying.
Krs 1 a national treasure. To this day I can’t name 10 of these so called MCs with a better catalog than Kris. Salute!
