In part two of our interview with De La Soul, DJ Pizzo speaks with Posdnous about A Tribe Called Quest’s “Beats, Rhymes, & Life” documentary. They also touch upon the original “Scenario” recording sessions, and the lost versions of the track with members of Tribe, Leaders, De La Soul, and Black Sheep. These are hella dope to listen to. But glad they re-did/reworked it cause they sure did nail the fuck out of it on the final cut.
Dayz says: @cmatter from what Pos said the LP version was actually the first version but Q-Tip wanted to experiment with the song by adding new verses and emcees… Along with Pos I think we can all agree it was best he stayed with the OG version.
