He went to the jewelry store and bought a house:

The day after his sold out show at S.O.B.’s, 2 Chainz came through the Toca Tuesdays studio. Of course Tony had to get him to rhyme. Tune in to Toca Tuesdays each and every Tuesday from 8p to Midnight on Shade 45.

@yungplex I don’t blindly hate on any artist. I maybe be from the Old School i.e. in the scene since 1983 but I constantly look for new artists and frankly there are so many talented kids coming up these days it’s awesome. The problem is the media (radio/mtv/blogs/etc) hypes these no talent ass clowns and the public eats it up! I did give this guy a listen and I said what I said and stand by it. If people enjoy this bafoonery then fine but me I have a much more refined palette and higher standard for the art I choose to appreciate. What he does is barely kindergarden abc/123s, his beats sound are horrible so I don’t see any redeeming quality in what he brings to the table… Corny fans turned wanna be rappers and Hip Pop give true Hip Hop a bad name to the masses that are ignorant to the movement!

i don’t feel like you palettes are more refined than mines. I go back to 80′ with this ish myself and to give further background my crew opened for Sugar Hill, in the 90′s, we did our lil radio single, battled living legends, and choped it up with fuggees after getin bumped at their show out west. That being said its 2012 and the artform has undergone some changes.(hate or love it) I stand by my stament aswell, 2 chains go get his burn regardless. Duke aint got to be lyricly complex to tap into what the streets is feeling. I can embrace this for what it is without decreasing my IQ. Independant of all the labels I’m go enjoy the art for it’s strengths as it presents in 2012. I might jam PUTS & Def Jux ish to Young Gotti ish. It really is all good. (btw id be willing to compare my IQ,career ect… with most heads on this site) I’m doing well enough not to hate thou.
