Phonte’s latest from Charity Starts At Home, produced by 9th Wondra, directed by Ken Price.
Te’s always got something to get off his chest. Dood is dope as fuck and he helps me realize that we all go thru the same type of shit no matter where we live or how we hustle. I like his Foreign Exchange singing style but, his flow is so much nicer. Glad him & 9th worked out their differences, hopefully we’ll see a full length between the two. But for now go scoop up Tigalo’s CSAH LP, you wont be disapointed.
Great video for a great song on a great LP, what else can I say??? This is real Hip Hop talking about real things that real people go through. Not this wanna be frontin’ like you apart of the 1% just lookin’ down at us type nonsense raps that I am getting increasing tired of listening to… Phonte’s LP is incredible BUY it now if you haven’t already!
This LP along with the Roots were on some personal/universal ish. They both really spoke to me.
I loved this song when I first heard the album. Don’t know if it could speak any clearer to me/99% of the people I know.
Totally agree with Bronson – I do enjoy the Foreign Exchange Phonte, but this phonte/ chitlin circut phonte/ the listening phonte/the minstrell show phonte is the phonte I put way up at the top of my list of favorite MCs
