I wish he produce more kind of like what El-p is doing with Killa Mike.Get paired up with someone that respect your sound and crush it.

Yeah I respect his business and production skills but on the mic the horrorcore, braggadocious, homophobic gay bashing is just too much and over the top most of the time. It like I listen and watch his videos and think is this dude has to just bust out laughing at himself after the camera or mic cuts off. It’s just almost seems like a big joke. @Brad I agree and I am very excited to see what happens with his collabro with Kool G Rap turns out. It has the potential to be very great. Although his I Need Drugs song has to be one of the funniest clever rap remakes ever.

@Dayz, yeah “I Need Drugs” is incredible, so clever, so hilarious, maybe the funniest hip hop song ever. I saw Necro live once, there was a fan who yelled “Necro, you’re the shit!” Necro thought he said, “Necro, you’re shit!” So he punched the dude in the face from the stage. Then once the misunderstanding was cleared up Necro let the dude punch HIM in the face. It was kind of awesome. Anyway, after the “I Need Drugs” and “Gory Days” lps his schtick started to wear pretty thin. It was entertaining for a while. At this point, lyrically he’s become a parody of himself in my opinion. He’s still solid production wise as long as he’s not doing his metal infused shit. I like metal quite a bit, but the only time metal and hip hop have been combined to create anything good was the Anthrax and Public Enemy colabo.

@Model Citizen yeah Bring The Noise was one awesome song. I saw them play it live a few years back at the Rock The Bells in NYC. I was right up in the mosh pit for that! I also really liked the Onyx and Biohazard Slam Remix. Also the Judgment Night Soundtrack was a classic. But back to Necro I feel you on how his songs almost sound like parodies of his older material. I bet he puts on was crazy ass show, sounds like it! Ha!
