Danny Brown doesn’t always rap with the crazy voice, but I can see how it wouldn’t be everyone’s cup of tea. This particular song isn’t the best one to listen too if you’re not already well acquainted with him, it’s one of his quirkier tracks but it grew on me after multiple listens to the rest of “XXX.” What I like about Danny Brown is his ability to both glorify ignorant gangsta shit in a Cam’ron sort of way, but still deliver serious content about growing up in the ghetto with addict parents and his stuggles with drugs. It’s a good balance. I’m usually a fan of clever shamelessly ignorant shit like Cam, Clipse, Celph Titled etc.
