Video for the Ugly Duckling song “Elevation”. Animated by Justin Ridge and directed by Stoney Sharp, this is the first video from the group’s 2011 album “Moving At Breakneck Speed”. The video features comedians T.J. Miller and Zack Pearlman as well as Nathan Barnatt and several other members of the UD family. The goal of this video was to bring the Breakneck Speed album cover to live. See if you can also spot each of the previous Ugly Duckling album covers throughout the video.

I’ve always been a big fan of these guys. I really dig how each album has a theme. They have ridiculous choice disco funk beats and their lyrics are always on point. I can see why many Hip Hoppers would not be down with their style but I think they are great.

that would be me. Its too happy happy crap for me, actually i think its really very kind of wack, but respect to them, i agree with you I know they have skills. i use to listen to the first album a lot it was slammin at the time and still is (fresh mode) but after that what happened ? it started getting bit too corny for me…
