It’s so true about the “wave” of inspiration and knowing when to ride it. I’ve had to pull my car over on the highway to write a whole song before. I was out on a job site one day and felt the flow and grabbed a napkin out of my car and on the street wrote a whole song in like 10 minutes, still one of my favorites I ever recorded too. Just two weeks ago I came home from work and felt the “wave” and wrote a 5 song EP in like 2 hours… You never know when inspiration is gonna strike so you better always have a pen and pad or a recording device on hand!
