On July 17th, YG Hootie & A-Wax will release their debut collaborative LP, Interstate Trafficking. The Bay- and Los Angeles-based rappers announced the album a few weeks back with the Gucci Mane-featuring lead single, “Make Room,” and while the album will also include features from Waka Flocka Flame, Too $hort, and others, today, YG & A-Wax are excited to release a video for “No Compass,” a track from their forthcoming Trap-A-Holics-hosted pre-album sampler. The video is directed by Waka Flocka’s video team, Blind Folks Vision.

While previous tracks, including “Make Room” and the more recent “Doin’ Something Wrong,” have shown off YG & A-Wax’s harder edge, for “No Compass,” the two rappers grab a recent beat from producer AraabMuzik for their most laid-back track so far. YG & A-Wax trade introspective verses back and forth to start the track, building ultimately to A-Wax’s slightly harmonized hook as he raps, matching the beat’s washed-out feel, “I’m not sure which way to go/ No compass, I’m faded though/ Life sure is one bumpy ride/ wish someone would pave the road/ Came so far, got ways to go.”
