    In all fairness I get a kick out of a sample based producer who has been sued countless times getting so bent out of shape about somebody giving him the same treatment

    And I say that as a fan of Pete Rock who always thought Lupe was overrated & boring

    But, A spade is a spade

    Mitch you go try to make a beat out of a sample. it ain’t that easy. listen to the original. you gotta have the ear and artistry to make something as smooth as TROY, Looking at the Front Door or Resurrection for example. that shit ain’t easy. so to create from a little snippet and then someone completely bite it. that’s fucked.
