Looks like Masta Ace and MF Doom’s album will hit July 17th, but Ace was seen tweeting today, “Oh sh*t, yall got digital release date for MA_DOOM: Son of Yvonne pushed up to next week Tuesday.” Either way, we’re looking forward to it. Tracklist is as follows:

Dayz says: Again like I have said on the other news posts about this LP it will be good but I have freestyled and others have recorded on all theses beats for what like a decade now? If they had gotten together and Doom had produced new beats specifically for this project it might have turned into a classic. Now I’ll probably listen once to see how how he flips it lyrically on these overused beats and be done with it.

On a side not, is that not the wackest cover art of all time? wow that blows
Skins says: I may know a guy who knows a guy that knows shady men with large trenchcoat collections….but the album is very good. Sure, fresher beats and more Doom verses would have been nice, but hey, it is what it is and that is is good.
