Model Citizen says: Freddie Gibbs is one of my favorite emcee’s at the the moment. I can’t get into a lot of the beats he jumps on, but I’m really feeling the majority of his music. My 40+ song Gibbs mix I made gets a lot of plays on my iPod. Dude is insane lyrically. The two songs he’s put out with Madlib so far are incredible, I’m definitely anticipating the new EP. I’ve said it before, but it really is to bad he signed with Jeezy. Luckily he has the good taste to work with people like Statik Selektah and Madlib to keep heads like me satisfied.
