Producer Large Professor discussed collaborating with Nas for the rapper’s debut album, Illmatic. Large described what makes the record special. He even went so far as to say the album still hasn’t been outdone by others of its kind.

Dayz says: Yeah in that respect of Illmatic’s continued status I’d agree with Large Pro. LP knocks better than 100% of anything mainstream these days and holds up with current great music. It truly is a classic LP in all senses of the word.
Also I got to peep some of Large Pro’s new LP, Professor @ Large, and it’s incredible! But it on June 26th!
