Preem flaked..he knows GOOD Music wins that one (Ye and some of those clowns blow balls, however, but Push can win that battle for dolo) I wish cats would stop giving Drake and Wayne props, they suck as well…

WTF is going on!?! Recently I hear Andre 3000 talking like an assh@le now DJ Premier!?! You like and respect these new young sh!tty rappers??? Please say it ain’t so!!! I don’t know if he’s just trying to stay politically correct or indifferent but for him to say he actually likes Lil Wayne and Drake is blasphemy in my world and makes me very sad! I could so picture if Guru was still here and they were cool that these two would make a song where they addresses the state of Hip Pop and don’t call out any particular names, cause they have artistic integrity and could do it all with class, but buries these cornball Hip Pop fake thug/pretty boy moes on a classic banger beat… At least that’s what I envision. Come’on Preem you can’t really like those lames!?! Please say it ain’t so…

Oh Noes! DJ Premier actually likes Lil Wayne!? Call the Underground Rap police! He must be crazy! Force him to listen The Sun Rises in the East as punishment; until he conforms to the opinions of others! That’s keeping it real, son! Your own taste be damned Prem!

Some people take this shit too seriously…so what if he likes Lil Wayne? He still makes incredible beats and he proved it not long ago with that Bumpy Knuckles album! Who gives a shit if he likes Lil Wayne? That doesn’t mean that you have to like it!

Keep in mind that this is a guy who produced half of a Christina Aguilera album. Preem is top 5 (top 1 in my case) dead or alive behind the boards, and his contributions to real, raw hip-hop are totally undisputed, but he has to keep the lights on too. He would work with Drake in a heartbeat, and he’d give him a banger too (a wasted one in MY opinion, but hey). Does he reallllly like and respect him and Wayne? Probably not so much, but he’s been around long enough to know how to play the game, pay the rent and is established and respected enough that he can do what he wants and gets a pass.
