I haven’t been liking the direction Mac Miller has been going with his music but this mixtape definitely sounds like the lane I hoped he would go down. Look forward to hearing it. I hope he has a different song with DJ Premier than the one that leaked last year. It was okay but nothing exciting or had any replay value. Can’t wait for another Magnificent LP, Jeff’s records are always choice. Come home and get it done man (he lives like 10 minutes down the street from me).

Am I the only one who believes that these new rappers shouldn’t be in the same building let alone the same room as the Pete Rocks, Premiers, and Jazzy Jeffs??? They should have to earn a beat from those cats…it’s too easy these days…

  • Dayz says:

@Da Commanda, I hear ya but Mac Miller in particular really has busted his ass and has a huge appreciation for Hip Hop’s history and knows who the true artists are not to mention a serious work ethic and has definitely earned all that he has. Maybe some others fell ass backwards into working with greats but Mac earned it for sure. Many people hate on him and his music but I wish they would do their homework and see what this kid is made off and what he stands for. He is the future of Hip Hop that I believe in and hope more kids learn from his path to success and appreciation for real Hip Hop artists.

Weird… I don’t get the Mac Miller apologists around here…dude sucks but ‘he busts his ass’….This dude could spend his life busting his ass, he’s still going to sound and rhyme like Mac Miller, with the same corny and weak production and nickelodeon ready rhymes.

  • Dayz says:

Well everyone is entitled to their own opinion, I totally get all the reason why people hate on Mac but I also get all the reasons why other people like him so much and why he is as popular as he is… I like him and half my friends do and the other think I’m crazy for it so it is what it is…
