Here’s an outtake from the Russian Roulette sessions, that won’t make the final tracklist. Al’s new album is in stores July 17th on Decon.
This song was hella dope!
This was dope but the chatter/background noise throughout the whole song got really annoying after a while. Anyway, Alchemist’s production is in top form lately (not that it was ever bad). I’m definitely anticipating “Russian Roulette.”
Alchemist AND Blu? enough said. This has that old school Soul Assassins / Muggs sound, very dope.
@Model Citizen, I have heard the entire LP and it is pretty choice. The thing is the songs average about 1:20 and only have one verse. The instrumentals are good but the whole LP revolves around a lot of Rocky 4 samples and lots of rock guitar riffs which to me are hit or miss. It’s definitely dope and maybe my expectations were too high but I was expecting, not necessarily more, but something different than what it is.
@Dayz, I’ve only heard the song with Action Bronson, but it fit that description.
