Never knew about the Scumbags joint…Gore was nice enough on it, but otherwise yikes….glad eXquire got his hands on it.

Agreed nice producer, had some decent niche market songs in the late 90s but he is just too over the top for me and has always been. His lyrics are just not my style. Beats are serious though, loved that joint he did for Raekwon on OBFCL2. I Need Drugs was my favorite song by Necro, I still bump that joint!

^ I Need Drugs is fantastic. His early vinyls and first two CDs (the I Need Drugs compilation and Gory Days) were dope to me beyond the beats because I wasn’t bored with the ‘shock’ steez and found some of it hilarious. “Get On Your Knees” legitimately still makes me laugh, “S.T.D.” too. His flow was decent enough, and he st least stayed on beat for the most part. At some point though, he became a parody of himself as an MC, the flow never evolved much and I just lost interest. Anyway, I’m just beating the crap out of this horse I killed, and in spite of it all I respect the guy.

I never sat down ad listened to an entire LP of his. His subject matter is not tolerable for an hour plus straight… Anyways I agree the Kool G Rap LP will be bitter sweet cause the beats will bang, G Rap will rip them but then Necro will come on and bring the every song down. If he was just on the boards I might be saying that it could have ended up being the best G Rap LP of all time. Although I must say first single is pretty dope though and the saving grace will be if Necro can rap along with Kool and stay on his topics and off of the horrorcore topics.
