Tom says: Interesting subject matter. Not sure about the execution, but it was good to hear him say Nas fell off. I think lyrically, Nas has. Even with his new material. Which isn’t bad.
Shaun says: this song sucks. nas is the greatest, u trippin too tom. i love big and what happened to him was very horrible and sucks. but he only did 2 albums. never been a jay z fan and never will be. i just don’t think he’s that good. plus nas killed him when they battled, so that right there just proves nas is the better mc. 11 albums, 9 of them very good and 1 is the greatest of all time. 10 out of 11 aint too bad if you ask me. plus 2 very nice emcees (fashawn, elzhi) have paid homage and remade Illmatic.

Tom says: I’m more of a Jay-Z fan. I think he is still one of the best out there and to me it seems like he is getting better as time goes by.
Shaun, Nas didn’t kill Jay-Z in that battle come on now. Not even close. I know people are split on this one though. Maybe Nas is more for tough guy street shit and other people are into more more lyrical wordplay and humor.
