Despite an attempted cover-up of Mobb Deep’s live-via-Twitter-fallout a few months back, Havoc set the record straight, admitting the inflammatory Tweets sent towards Prodigy were indeed from him. He closes out this interview revealing that Mobb Deep are on indefinite hiatus….
Wow my boys got Havoc to admit it was him on Twitter! (allhiphop.com is from my hometown in Delaware and I’ve known Grouchy, Chuck and them since before their site was created) I knew something was not right in their camp, very disappointing to hear this. I am a huge Mobb Deep fan and always will be but with P not really coming with anything that great in over a decade now their break up to me this is the nail in the coffin for the Mobb.
FINALLY! @Dayz, I don’t find this disappointing at all, it’s about time Mobb Deep stop shitting all over their legacy with sub standard new material. “The Infamous” and “Hell on Earth” are too of the best hip hop albums of all time but at this point why continue?
@Model Citizen ,true that, on that note as I take a toke I’m gonna put on Hell on Earth. 96 was the mutha f@ckin’ year for real. Sometimes it’s best to know when to let go… And Mobb probably should have done that after Murder Musik…
