That chance meeting of Kendrick Lamar and Lady Gaga a month or so back wasn’t just a photo op. The two have teamed up for a new song called “PARTYNAUSEOUS”, Lady Gaga revealed last night via her Twitter. The song will appear on Kendrick’s good kid, m.A.A.d city.

If the good ol’ Doc has anything to do with this LP it’s gonna have the stink of Hip Pop/MTV/Radio all over it… I got a bad feeling about this LP.

Who cares, dude needs a single that will sell, if having her on one song is the difference between success & failure, I aint gonna judge him for it, we all know hip hop fans dont buy shit, ask Nas about his critically acclaimed album that has a snowballs chance in hell of going gold….. Hip Hop fans dont support shit and are the first ones in line to complain when an artist reaches out to an audience that does, Fuck outta here with that shit, dude’s gotta eat….. I’ll just hope the rest of the album is more along the lines of what I want, but if having that ugly bitch on the record keeps him from flopping, do what you gotta do.

I just don’t agree with that logic. There are plenty of Hip Hop artists never even afforded as much lime light and shine as this guy has already had who make enough money to get by and not have a day job. To me that is successfully in the music industry, do what you love and support yourself and your family. That would be a dream come true. If you have to be a millionaire and don’t mind compromising everything you stand for and selling out on the process then do what you gotta do. I rather be a D-list artist doing exactly what I want to do then be an A or B-list artist but do wack things to get there. And let’s be real at this point this dude ain’t hurtin’ for a meal. Dude probably already has way more money then I’ll ever see and I’m sitting quite comfortably. I agree though that a lot of Hip Hop fans talk a bunch but they don’t put their money where their mouths are in terms of respecting the artists they claim to be fans of.

All I gotta say is Malice and Pusha T got their noses in some deep pop shit and never blew up, remained hardcore and we all still listening to them. K Lamar will not be any different, he’s dope and won’t sell out or sell huge numbers either. I can’t wait for his album. Dre needs a underground sleeper hit that old and new recognize.
