Lil Wayne caused some controversy this week when he said, “flat out, I don’t like New York,” in an MTV interview, when asked about his NYC performance last week with Nicki Minaj. State Senator Malcolm Smith responded with a press conference, demanding an apology from the rapper. Birdman also weighs in, suggesting that he stands by Lil’ Wayne and whatever he says. Hello Brooklyn?
What a Douche Bag. I hope this kills his career and he is convicted of tax evasion.
Regardless of what you think of Wayne or his statement, why is a politician wasting his time commenting on a rapper’s opinion of their city. I mean, yeah Wayne sounds like an asshole, but why is this on a Senator’s radar? I read somewhere else that Senator Smith also referred to Hollis as the birth place of hip hop.
HAHAHAHA at having an actual press conference over this. This senator needs a job….and should be ashamed of himself for wasting time on this when he should have better more important issues to deal with. I hate Lil Wayne but come on this is ridiculous.
