Eeeeee. According to a report by the New York Post, in Wyclef’s new autobiography, Purpose, he reveals that ultimately the reason that The Fugees broke up was because Lauryn Hill lied to him about her pregnancy, claiming her first born child with Rohan Marley, Zion, was his.
“In that moment something died between us. I was married and Lauryn and I were having an affair, but she led me to believe that the baby was mine, and I couldn’t forgive that,” said ‘Clef. “She could no longer be my muse. Our love spell was broken.”
