First single from eXquire’s upcoming six-song EP, Power & Passion, due November 6th. El Producto style.
I would disagree that el-p is selling out. To me selling out is changing your whole vibe in order to get mainstream success. El-p’s production is as dope as ever. Gucci Mane is terrible, I will agree with that. But el-p isn’t making lame crossover music, and he never will.
“Holden C” is the definition of the underground elitest douchebag who complains about everything that doesn’t fit his narrow minded point of view. First of all, EL-P made this beat for Exquire and Ex himself decided to put Gucci Mane on it. Second of all, an artist working with an artist you dont like isn’t enough to qualify for the “Sellout” title, the song is called “TELEPHUCK” and the word fuck is in the chorus like 5 times. You have a better chance of hearing “8 Steps to Perfection” on the radio then this song, so pound that sellout talk up your stuck up arrogant ass.
