The artistformerly forever known (to us) as Mos Def gives us another look at his project with Mannie Fresh, “OMFGOD”. We’re definitely interested to see where this goes.
It will be nice to hear Yasiin Bey’s mic skillz along with Mannie Fresh’s crisp beats. I will get this album for sure.
Always will be known as Mos Def indeed… Gotta say why does he take that old roaring 20′s Mic around with him where ever he goes? Even has to use it when doing interviews now? Kinda makin’ him look silly to me. Working with Mannie Fresh, I never would have seen that coming but from the snippets of production we hear here it sounds like this might be okay. But Mos has gotta stop with the freestyle singing and calling it a song crap he’s been on these days. Spit bars and leaving the corny mic and crooning to the likes of Harry Connick Jr. holmes!
I feel like Yasiin earned the right to express himself as he sees fit. Long as dude is keepin it authentic I fux w/ him.
