Big Boi gives us another taste of his new album, Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors, this one featuring Kid Cudi. The album is in stores Dec. 11th.
I listened to this LP last night and I will have to listen again before really forming an opinion. My initial reaction is that it doesn’t grab my like his last LP and there are too many guest verses. I am a huge fan of his and Outkast but this so far sounded, meh, to me.
Big my nigga but history has shown he needs Dre and DJ much more than vice versa. Creatively, flow-wise, production and beat selection, taking originality over trends, everything. They can sugarcoat it all they want, but its clear that they don’t have much in common anymore. This sounds like some BOB fluff. Big’s last album made me sad. Looks like more of the same here.
Not impressed with that k.rowland single, the one with mary j. back in tha day was better, im worried about this LP, i dug his last one though
